Alison Cummings

Favorite Quote: “Everyone deserves a chance to be their best-self.”
More About Alison
I was exposed to Physical therapy at a young age as my older sister had Polio when she was a child. Her years of braces, surgeries, and rehabilitation therapies triggered within me a deep level of compassion and desire to help those with physical limitations.
I have worked with sports, neurological, and a variety of work related injuries, but my greatest passion is working with geriatric patients, helping to restore function through physical therapy in creative and fun ways. I also have many years of expertise working with acute post-op joint replacements with an emphasis on functional restoration, edema control, and pain management.
I love cooking, hiking, reading, relaxing in my back-yard, and will jump at any opportunity to go out to eat!
My husband and I have 2 lovely daughters and 2 young grandchildren. We are very active on the Manitou Incline and try to climb the steps at least 2-3x week.
I try everyday to be my best-self and bring out the best in others.
